Six Softball Players Earn Postseason Honors, Marsh Named Pitcher of the Year

Six student-athletes on 果冻传媒 Technical Community College's softball team earned postseason honors, led by Abby Marsh being named the 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 19 Division II Pitcher of the Year.
Marsh was also named to the NJCAA Region 19 Division II All-Region First Team where she was joined by teammates Kalli Chelton, Baylee Lynch, and Madison Fox. Cheyenne Silves and Maggie Hubbard were selected for the All-Region Second Team.
A freshman, Marsh finished the season with a 14-4 record and 1.92 ERA. She pitched a total of 98.1 innings, holding opponents to a .198 batting average while striking out 134 and only walking 24.
Chelton, a freshman infielder, was second on the team with a .440 batting average and led all players with 62 hits and 58 RBI. She also scored 54 runs and hit 16 doubles (tied for tops on the team) and two home runs.
A freshman outfielder, Lynch hit .419 while leading the team with 59 runs scored, eight triples, and drawing 27 walks. Her 57 hits and 11 doubles were both second best on the squad, and she also drove in 28 runs.
Fox, a sophomore catcher, hit .431, recorded 53 hits, scored 31 runs, and had 46 RBI.
A sophomore outfielder, Hubbard led the team in batting average (.442), home runs (3), triples (8), and doubles (tied with 16). She was second in hits with 57 and also had 37 RBI and scored 39 runs.
Silves, a sophomore infielder, recorded a .369 batting average, scored 52 runs, had nine doubles, two triples, one home run, and 21 RBI. She led the team with seven stolen bases.
果冻传媒 Tech (28-16) finished as runner-up at the Region 19 Division II Tournament and earned a spot in the Atlantic A District Championship.
